Happy lazy Sunday everyone ,

last day at home ! Tomorrow I am on the raod again full of memories of a beautiful relaxing month .
Something I am very excited about is that I will get my first tattoo . I am thinking about some years now and now is the time . I want a wrist tattoo reminding me that I am a fighter ( getting over some difficult times ) .
So this past days I am searching all over the web for some designs , ideas ...
I would love to have a birds - star - word combination . This is no easy as I find out . Colour should be black but with on small red detail . Also I am not sure if I want it on my left or right wrist ...puh , people are right when they say that finding the right tattoo is a headache . It's for a lifetime and it would be great to like it everyday for the rest of your life . I don't want to end up like this  hahaha

But I also figured out that too much searching can be bad also cause you find a lot of things you like and for me this means that I could be ending up like this but no , I am already scared to shit getting a small one ....

Well , as long as people like theirself I am fine with it !!!

Summer - Beach - Holidays ...ahhhh

Hello everyone !!!
as you will see later on I am enjoying my holidays to the top !
My batteries are full charged , my skin is happy for wearing just Sunmilk and my hair for treating it only with shampoo and no beauty products whatssoever ! I am sleeping a lot and read all this books I had on my list for months .
But as they say ....Pictures say more then thousand words !

Excellent , fascinating , dangerous .... a Must read !
I have  seen the movie some years ago and I was shocked and fascinated at the same time . Some days ago I won the book and was part of a reading group. We all agreed that it is so easy to lose control over everything especially during the sensitive "teenager-years"

Story :
In spring 1967, in Palo Alto, California, history teacher Ron Jones conducted an experiment with his class of 15-year-olds to sample the experience of the attraction and rise of the Nazis in Germany before World War II.  In a matter of days the experiment began to get out of control, as those attracted to the movement became aggressive zealots and the rigid rules invited confusion and chaos.  
This story has attracted considerable attention over the years through films, books, plays and musicals, and verges on urban legend.  It serves as a teaching tool, to facilitate discussion of those uncomfortable topics of history, human nature, psychology, group behavior, intolerance and hate.

Ich durfte wieder bei einer Leserunde teilnehmen ! Diesmal das faszinierende Buch von Morton Rhue - "Die Welle" . 
Hier nun meine Rezension 

        Gefaehrliche "Macht-Spiele"

Die "Welle" ist ein faszinierendes und sogleich beispielhaftes Buch . Es zeigt , wie schnell sich Menschen leiten lassen . Wie schnell sie sich einer Gruppe anschliessen um gleichgestellt zu sein , einem Fuehrer zu folgen der ihnen den Weg zeigt und alle "Probleme" wegschafft . 
Das Buch hat mich genauso wie der Film sehr fasziniert .
Die Welle sollte eine Pflichlektuere in den Schulen sein um vielleicht so die Jugendlichen von Fehlern zu bewahren . Um einem Buergerkrieg aus dem Weg zu gehen , denn es scheint eine Frage der Zeit zu sein bis das Fass ueberlaeuft ....

My New Best Curvy Friend !!!

Hello my dears !!!!
Last tough month before August vacation :) Right now things are really crazy as I am very very busy . It's all about examinations and I spend all day in front of the office desk preparing the exampapers ...poor students , I know :(

Disturbing thing that happens to me a few days before I left home ...my beloved Espresso-Machine said goodbye to me ! Well , how can someone live without ? So I started searching for a new one . I tested Dolce Gusto vs Tassimo and Dolce did the contest . Far better taste and foam . Right now you can get the Piccolo version for 59 € . I wanted to go for this one but after searching on the net I find the Melody III Red for only 89 € . This one is automatic and very cute !So you can fix warm or cold coffee/tea drinks !!! Now I am a proud owner of it and the good thing is that I have it with me and I already use it on my crazy work days which is a good thing for my colleagues too as they spend a lot of time in my office :) I know they like me but somehow I have the feeling that they like the Melody as much or maybe more ???? hahahahaha But it's ok , they know I am a kind person ( mostly ) and as the weather does not allow us to go outside much ( hot hot hot summer ) I opened the Julias DesCafe :)

It's really very very hot right now and if there is no real emergency it's better to stay inside the A/C . No biking at all :( and I really miss it . Hopefully things will get better the next days ! And if we must go outside we stay close to water... any kind !!! :)

                           
At nights things are a bit better ... so we went to a greek folklore festival on the full moon night ! I could not make a good picture of the moon (with my iphone) which made me mad as it was magical !!!

"Stand by me" - Book Review German

Book Review for "Stand by me " from Sheila O' Flanagan 

Again I could be part of a reading Circle . It was a great pleasure and I enjoyed it very much . Sheila O' Flanagan wrote a great book about Relationships , Family , Decisions and Live .

It is a great Book for Vacation or relaxing hours at home . 

Und wieder durfte ich bei einer Leserunde dabei sein . 

"Bis das Glueck mich findet" von Sheila O'Flanagan 

Ein sehr schoenes Buch fuer den Urlaub oder ein paar ruhige Stunden auf der Couch um die Seele baumeln zu lassen . 

Dominique Brandy waechst in einem strengen katholischen Elternhaus in Dublin auf. Ihr Bruder Gabriel teilt die Liebe ihrer Eltern zu Gott und moechte Priester werden .Doch Dominique hat andere Traeume . Sie moechte raus aus dem Elternhaus und die Welt erleben . Da tritt Brendan in ihr Leben . Ein zielstrebiger Mann der sich viel vorgenommen hat und beruflich aufsteigen moechte. Gemeinsam schaffen sie es das glamoroeseste Paar Irlands zu werden bis das Glueck sie eines Tages verlaesst und Dominique vor schweren Entscheidungen steht ...

Das Buch ist sehr schoen und fluessig geschrieben . Ich konnte mich von der ersten Seite an gut  einlesen und begleitete begeistert Domniques Leben , vom Teenager bis zur Frau . Irland der 80ger Jahre ist sehr schoen beschrieben und wenn man dieser Altersgruppe angehoert findet man sich bestimmt in manchen Dingen wieder . Ein Buch ueber Emotionen , Beziehungen , Freundschaften und Familie . Ideal fuer den Urlaub oder ein paar ruhige entspannte Stunden auf der Couch .

Book Review ...

Hello and good morning or as we say here in Greece Kalimera everyone :)

Today I am posting my Review to this MUST read Book . It is for German readers and I am very pleased that I could be part of the reading group with the Author Elke Becker . She is georgous and her book as I said a must for all crime novel fans .

Ich durfte bei der Leserunde dabei sein und ich war begeistert !!!

Carmen Gomez , eine vermoegende alte Dame wird tot in ihrem Haus gefunden.Ist die ruestige alte Dame wirklich in ihrem Schlaf gestorben und warum soll sie ihr geliebtes Haus zwei Tage vor ihrem Tod verkauft haben ?Celia Crespo die Freundin und Nachbarin der Toten kann es nicht glauben.Gemeinsam mit Christina Diaz,einer Umweltschuetzerin, die nach dem Tod ihrer Eltern von Carmen und Celia Crespo liebevoll aufgezogen wurde , versuchen sie die mysterioesen Umstaende zu belichten und aufzuklaeren. Sie werden auf illegale Firmen , Geldwaesche , politische Machenschaften und Intrigen stossen .Weitere Todesfaelle verdunkeln den Weg und beide begeben sich in grosse Gefahr .

Elke Becker ist es gelungen einen Krimi zu schreiben , der einen von Anfang bis Ende in seinen Bann zieht.
Nervenkitzel und Hochspannung sind garantiert.Menschliche Beziehungen und Ortschaften sehr schoen beschrieben.

Ein faszinierender Roman den ich waermstens weiterempfehle .
Es war das erste Buch , dass ich von Elke Becker gelesen habe und ich freue mich auf mehr . Sie gehoert nun zu meinen Lieblingsautoren.

What I've done ...

Hellooooo !
It's been some time since last time BuT I am back to work !!! Good thing was that for the last 10 days I was just teaching and so there was time to do some great outdoor expeditions :) like riding a bike again after several years ( I am obsessed and addicted) ! Going to a Reggae Festival ! Eating chinese ! Taking long walks AND finally swimming first time this year !!!!!!!! YEAH
